Half-Staffing
To half-staff using the telescoping flag pole, move the flag from the top position to the bottom, second-flag position. In addition, to enhance the effect, you may also lower your pole one position to reduce its height.

Installation & Materials Required
- Telescoping flagpole PVC sleeve (included)
- Approximately three 60-lb bags of concrete mix
- Measuring tape or yard stick
- Contractor’s level
- Small rock or coarse gravel container for mixing concrete
Dig a hole 28” deep by 12” round and place 6” of small gravel for drainage on the bottom of the hole. Insert bolt in sleeve. Place sleeve in hole. Surround sleeve with cement, place level on top of the sleeve to see that it is level. Set and cure overnight.
